PHILOSTROLOGY

A blog about life on earth and everywhere else

Wrong!

So, someone reblogged one of my pictures, which has the sun on it with a caption of “you make the world come alive” and decided to be cute. They added the note “I’m pretty sure nothing’s alive on the sun.” Clearly they didn’t read my caption correctly: without the sun, the Earth would be dead. Like, literally, with no living things on it. At all. So, the sun really does make the world come alive. Some people actually think about what they write. Oh, and sorry for the bitchy rant. That whole thing just bugged me. Especially since I was right. :)

It suddenly struck me that that tiny pea, pretty and blue, was the Earth. I put up my thumb and shut one eye, and my thumb blotted out the planet Earth. I didn’t feel like a giant. I felt very, very small.
